Science Fair

We are excited to announce we are starting a new tradition, The Kiwanis Science Fair, in partnership with the YMCA! It will be available to 5th through 8th graders. This annual event will be held in March.

Kiddie’s Day Parade

Annually in May we host the Kiddie’s Day Parade the day before Oroville’s Feather Fiesta Days Parade. We honor participants with awards and cash prizes.

Pheasant Hunt

A long-standing event, The Kiwanis Pheasant Hunt, takes place the first Sunday of December. This has historically been a wonderful fundraising effort for our club that we look forward to every year. The hunt is now by invitation only due to capacity and returning hunters.

Fundraising

We help the community with various fundraising efforts throughout the year. One of our largest fundraising efforts is firework sales in partnership with Oroville High School Wrestling team. Together we have raised thousands of dollars for both organizations.

Fore! the Kids Golf tournament is a new fundraiser for us partnering with the YMCA. Fore our first co sponsored tournament it was a success. We look forward to being able to continue this as an annual event.

We have participated in many pancake breakfast fundraising efforts, most notably at the Oroville Little League opening ceremonies, and local basketball tournaments.

Each holiday season we partner with the Salvation Army in bell ringing efforts and encourage the kids of Key Club to serve their community. We also volunteer at Feather River parks and Rec’s Breakfast with Santa!
